**This set up does not have to include food - it can be a bubbles an bath or prince/princess set up. If you require a professional balloon garland I can accommodate that for you with choice of colours for an additional $50 (1 meter in length.)

Important Cake Smash Hacks:


If you're able to, make the room warm.

The area requested for me to shoot the photos on should be lino, tiles or a plastic cover to protect your home.

Limit the outfit changes, in an hour booking 3 to 4 outfit changes can be too much for the kiddo, making them overwhelmed and often irritated try just 1 or 2.

If the shoot is around a normal meal time try an keep the meal limited/sparse so that when given the cake the child is at the least hungry enough to nibble/smash or eat some of the cake if not all.

Have a favourite biscuit an snack handy, if they seem uninterested in the cake we can always but a biscuit at the back part to help the "this tastes nice, I'm going to eat/try more".

its not always about shoving the cake all in, its the experience of texture, sugar, smiles an fun - we can always bring out the bath if they truly aren't interested in the cake/food.

I will need access to a power point within your home for my large flash light.

Family photos are welcomed as mentioned above but the focus is on the child's cake smash experience an should not be rushed as many are unsure about it all - can I make this mess, can I eat it all, how does it taste, why is everyone looking at me an more.

Mornings or afternoons are best just after a nap, so they are alert, and happy.

One last thing, I don't mind one bit about behind the scenes photos, send some to me I always forget about content ahah but try not to have to many "look at me" people, if I'm there I want to engage an get him or her looking at me for your photos - that's why I'm there after all.

These are the most fun photos and I enjoy them thoroughly and have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to make the session run best for you photos - trust me.
